Prepare materials

Choosing good coffee will be the deciding factor in the quality of your espresso. You should use pure, unadulterated coffee.

Preparing the water source is also an important step in making coffee. The water source used to make coffee must be clean, pure, free of impurities.

Currently, some high-end coffee makers are also equipped with a water filtration feature, to ensure the quality of cups of coffee after brewing.

Start the coffee maker

20 - 30 minutes before making coffee, start the machine to heat the boiler and coffee cup.

The temperature indicator needle should be at 85 - 92 degrees Celsius and the pressure should be 8.3 - 9.3 bar.

Grind coffee powder

You just need to put the coffee beans into the machine to grind. After grinding, take a sufficient amount of coffee and put it in the handle.

Normally, to make 30ml of espresso, you need to use about 8g of ground coffee.

Compress coffee

After putting coffee powder into the handle, use temper to compress the coffee.

When compressing, you need to use moderate force, not too strong nor too weak to ensure the coffee is compressed evenly in the handle.

Make coffee

Drain the water at the group head for about 3 to 5 seconds before inserting the handle so that the machine cleans the coffee head and stabilizes the water temperature.

Wait for the machine to extract coffee into cups. The brewing time for a 30 ml cup of coffee will be about 20 to 25 seconds.

Finished product

Espresso coffee has a passionate aroma and a rich bitter taste. When enjoying, take small sips to feel the wonderful taste of coffee in your mouth. If you like, you can add sugar to your coffee to enjoy.
A few notes when using an espresso coffee maker

  • You should warm up the handle before brewing so that the coffee flavor does not change and retains its delicious taste.
  • After making coffee, you need to clean the machine. The machine also needs to be cleaned daily to ensure it always operates effectively.
  • To ensure the machine operates well, you need to pay attention to the fineness of the coffee powder. Coffee powder must have a fineness suitable for the machine so that the machine can operate smoothly, producing a quality cup of coffee.
  • During the preparation process, you also need to pay attention to the time because the difference in preparation time will also affect the quality of the coffee.
