Product Description and Instructions

Tamper OCD 2 heads is a smart combination of a coffee spreading tool and a coffee tamper when making Espresso. The base of the product is made of 304 stainless steel. The handle structure is made of aluminum with a friction pattern that creates a firm grip. You can also adjust the high temperature of the tamper to suit different amounts of coffee.

With a head that has a traditional OCD design, it helps distribute ground coffee evenly and provides a larger flat surface area, aiding in the Tamping process. The other end of the product is flat bottom. The design fits tightly around the filter basket, helping the coffee maker easily create an angle greater than 90 degrees.

You can easily clean the product with water and dry it after use.

How to use Tamper OCD 2 heads

  • Step 1: Keep the protafilter handle mesh clean and dry.
  • Step 2: Pour Espresso powder into the handle. Espressso powder can be ground directly into the handle or ground into the container. Usually use 7g for 1 single shot "Single Shot" and 14g for 1 Double Shot (Double Shot) and 21g for 3rd shot. There are always enough types of handles for every size. But double handles are more common. You can try with sizes from small to large.

  • Step 3: spread the dough evenly with your fingers. Drag your fingers across the side of the handle to spread the dough evenly before pressing. If the powder sticks to the edge of the handle, brush it off.
  • Step 4: Spread the coffee cake evenly. Place the 3 wings of Tamper OCD with 2 ends on the basket and then rotate a few times in a clockwise direction.
  • Step 5: Compress the dough with Tamper. Use the compression side of Tamper OCD 2 heads to compress, rotate slightly before applying Tamper.

Note that the height of the compressed surface must always be greater than the surface with three evenly spread sides.
